The GhostHustlers are three beautiful female students Kyoko, Mayu and Emi who fight evil spirits at Onin High School. The GhostHustlers are called into action when their school is invaded by "Erotomaniac Spirits" that have turned the female students into an uncontrollable libidinous frenzy. While this proves to be quite popular with the male students the school is also being overrun by slimy paranormal creatures. Faced with supernatural foes and the increasing moral turpitude of their students these three heroines do whatever is needed to save their school.

卫斯理，一个一生里充满传奇的名字。他经历过许多不可以用科学去解释之古怪事，他相信有鬼神，也相信有外星人存在，因他觉得若宇宙间只有地球人，岂不是太寂寞吗？在寻找真相之寂寞旅途上，上天终安排了一个伴侣给卫斯理，她就是与卫斯理性格刚好相反，凡事以科学角度去分析、讲求证据真相、为人理性之白素。 　　卫斯理由外国完成学业回祖国，没有打理家族之当铺生意，却开了一所三十年代在上海第一间之私家侦探社，目的是方便自己去查探奇闻怪事。卫斯理在“纸猴”事件中第一次遇上白素。卫斯理第一次遇上白素的时候，对方是在医院当女医生，卫斯理对她惊鸿一瞥，留下深刻印象，第二次是为因查案而受重伤之小郭追寻至夜总会，竟见白素摇身一变成为冷艳女歌星，一曲绕梁三日，令卫斯理梦魂颠倒，但失望的是原来她是上海青帮头子白老大之情妇。当第三次再遇上白素时，对方竟又是杀手一名，虽然多番向卫斯理开枪，也打不中卫斯理，后来卫斯理发现其实白素对他手下留情，所以认定对方同样对自己有好感，而且原来是自己一直误会白素是白老大之情妇，其实是父女关系，卫斯理开心起来便落力追求白素，很快亦夺得白素芳心，正是才子配佳人。 　　可惜天意有心弄人，小郭之重伤揭发了原来是白老大之青帮为夺宝藏而内讧所引起之轩然大波，经卫斯理追查之下，原来罪魁祸首乃白素大哥白奇伟，最后卫斯理为阻止白奇伟夺宝，意外令对方失足万丈山崖，死无全尸，此事震撼了青帮，白老大虽然明白其子之死与卫斯理无关，但丧子之痛掩饰不了内心的怨恨，所以令卫斯理与白素感情不能前进，二人之间出现了一道无形的鸿沟，白素最后决定离开上海。 　　其后三年里，卫斯理一直继续其探险精神去找寻各式各样古怪事情真相，每天也拿着那颗子弹来思念白素，直至一次“尸变”事件里，卫斯理帮助富商郑保云研究其不腐化之父亲尸首，卫斯理把尸首送往解剖室研究，怎料验尸官竟然又是白素，卫斯理摸不着头脑之际，白素竟以防腐剂甲醛把尸首化为白骨，卫斯理又一度误解白素有心破坏，二人心结未解又再斗气起来；而在“木炭”事件里，卫斯理感到白老大对自己不甚客气态度，便明白自己与白素之间除了一道无形的鸿沟外，原来还存在着另一道无形之墙。 　　卫斯理跟白素有一共同朋友，在“寻梦”事件里，其朋友本想把二人恩怨化解，可惜到头来自己却逃不过前世今生之命运重复安排。最后卫斯理与白素无奈相信二人是否可再续未了缘，应由上天去决定。但天意弄人，在“虫惑”事件中，意外地发现白奇伟原来还未死，只是失足受伤后失去了记忆，三年来一直由苗族少女照顾，白老大于是破涕为笑，对卫斯理放开了怀抱，众人还以为卫斯理与白素必定会爱火重燃，但刚刚相反，二人因不肯放下无谓之自尊而继续斗气。但是上天似是继续要考验他们，竟安排二人在“神仙”及“鬼混”事件里一直碰面斗气，令身边人啼笑皆非无法援助。 　　在最后的“盗墓”事件中，卫斯理终发现了自己是真心爱白素，一次有人来找卫斯理往盗墓，卫斯理初时拒绝，但后来得知白奇伟因接受此任务而失踪，而白素亦因追查大哥而身困险境，在追查怪事的最终时，原来一切竟跟中国特工、外国太空总署及外星人有极大关系，最后卫斯理协助外星人逃离古墓，但白素却危在旦夕，生死关头之时，卫斯理再掩饰不了对白素之爱，后悔当初没亲口向白素表白爱意，此时此刻，人类感情亦感动了外星人，为了报答卫斯理，外星人利用他们的高等智慧能力，把卫斯理送回从前时空，好让卫斯理跟白素再次剖白示爱。
